Tools Of The Trade

I am always learning and growing as an artist, which means getting to learn all kinds of different software. I have experience in using the following programs:

•Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop
•The Foundry's NUKE
•Autodesk Maya, Mudbox, and Matchmover
•The Pixel Farm's PFTrack
•Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Acoustica Mixcraft, Hitfilm

I look forward to embracing as many different tools as I can when it comes to producing great visual effects. Although, I feel HOW the tools are used can sometimes be more important than the tools themselves.

About Me

I am a visual effects artist with a focus on compositing. I grew up in Bakersfield, CA and currently reside in Vancouver, WA. I moved here about 7 years ago and I absolutley love the pacific northwest! I enjoy being a part of a team, and have collaborated on projects such as creating a virtual reality experience for the Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard, creating a transmedia anti-bullying campaign, and an interactive musical installation utilizing a Microsoft Kinect. I have produced several 2D and 3D animations, worked within game engines such as Unity3D and Unreal Engine 4, and have worked with compositing visual elements into live action footage. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in "Digital Technology and Culture" from Washington State University – Vancouver and am currently working on my Master's Degree in "3D animation and Visual Effects," from The Academy of Art University. In my spare time I enjoy creating fun video shorts and writing/recording/mixing/playing music.
